It's been a slow start

So, because of the unexpected weather changes i haven't been able to plan the trip. Although i plan to do this within the next few weeks. As of now, i started researching the type of supplies i'll need for the beginning of spring.

supplies:
-Rain Gear (wet clothes and supplies are never fun)
-Reinforced gloves, such as wind stopper and waterproof material (keeps you warm, and will help with building fort)
-baseball style hat (keep the bugs and sun off head)
-winter hat (cold days and nights)
-hiking boots (waterproof please, more-so since its early in the year. also good traction is a must)

*remember no cotton. it doesn't keep you very warm, and slows you down when wet.

  1. Have you chosen a spot yet? When are you planning on making your trip? Wool socks are so much better than cotton and will keep you warm and dry. There are tons of different wool socks available now. Who have you been working with on your trip? How have you parents been supporting you? Are you still planning on doing this trip with a friend? What is your back up plan and safety plan?
